What does it take to be a firefighter?

Most of our members at Botsford Fire Rescue have entered the company with no previous fire or EMS experience. Botsford Fire Rescue firefighters pride themselves on a strong foundation of training that begins on the first day. While formal training to ride is eventually required, new members are able to ride in a limited capacity after receiving basic in-house training.

Officers and outside trainers conduct drills to sharpen everyone’s skills or to try out a new procedure. Work Detail nights are every Monday at 6:00PM and the first Monday of each month is our monthly department meeting starting at 7:00PM.

If any of this at all interests you and you are over the age of 16, please fill out an application to set up a time to meet with our membership committee. Stop on by any Monday at 6:00PM and someone will be more than happy to explain what we’re all about.

Botsford Fire Rescue hold’s our monthly meeting on the first Monday of each month (subject to change for holidays) | Members meet at 6pm every Monday for a work detail to clean the station and check the apparatus
